I’m moving out of state or hold certification in a state other than the state I am moving into. How do I become certified to practice as an EMT where I am moving or to recertify my NREMT?<\/i><\/b>

\nEach state has unique requirements for entry into their state as an initial EMT. Most states, however, will accept NREMT certification in order to initially become an EMT. Our EMS 203 (F5) \u2013 EMT Refresher (Virtual Instructor Led Training) Course is a NCCP compliant for NREMT EMT Refresher Course. The NREMT provides credit for our course because we are a CAPCE Accredited Provider<\/a>. How long after passing the course will I receive proof of taking the EMT Refresher Course?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n\n

Your course validation certificate will be available immediately upon course completion. Therefore, as soon as you have completed and successfully passed the final examination, you will be issued your validation certificate.<\/p>\n\n

Does your course include Skills Verification?<\/i><\/b>

\nNo, we do not offer Skills Competency Verification. This should be done through your agency or though an initial training program. Contact Your State EMS Office<\/a> to find a list of training centers that can assist you with this requirement.<\/p>\n\n

My State\/County certification lapsed. Can I get it back?<\/i><\/b>
\n
\nSome states permit re-entry or certification after a lapse of certification based upon obtaining a certain number of CEs. The NREMT requires that you take a state approved EMT Refresher Course as well as pass the cognitive and psychomotor examinations. This program, by being approved through the state of California, EMS Authority to offer continuing education, qualifies as a state of California EMT Refresher program. As such, you can use this course in California to meet the requirements for the EMT Refresher portion, however, you will still be required to take the psychomotor exam and cognitive examination. You can check with your State EMS Authority<\/a> for further information regarding acceptance and requirements.<\/p>\n\n

What if I fail the exam?<\/i><\/b>

\nThe score to pass and receive your validation certificate is 75%. You are permitted to take the exam a maximum of 3 times prior to being required to take the course all over again. If you must repeat the course, we can offer you a discounted rate. Ask your instructor for details.<\/p>\n\n

What is the cost?<\/i><\/b>

\nThe cost to take the EMS 203 (F5) EMT Refresher (Virtual Instructor Led Training Course) is 7.50. In the event that you find a lower price, we can provide an additional 10% off the competitor’s price. This way you receive the lowest possible price for your recertification.<\/p>\n\n
