1.Set realistic goals

Setting goals is crucial to staying motivated and confident. Ensure that your goals are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound. Remember the acronym ‘SMART’ when you want to remember that. When you achieve small goals, it will help you build confidence—helping you attack larger ones.

2. Study, study, study

 EMT studies can be overwhelming, and it is easy to fall behind. Develop a study schedule that works for you and stick to it. Studying regularly will help you stay on track and avoid cramming sessions, which can lead to stress and anxiety.

3. Practice makes perfect.

 Practice is essential for any skill-based profession, and EMT is no exception. Participate in hands-on training, role-playing scenarios, and practice exams. The more you practice, the more confident you will feel in your skills.

4. Ask your instructors for guidance.

It is okay to ask for help when you need it. Reach out to your instructors, classmates, or EMT professionals for guidance and support. Remember, everyone starts from somewhere, and seeking help does not make you less competent.

5. Take care of yourself
